Inconsistent WiFi connectivity issues!!! Limited parking space is a hassle, especially for the price!!! Small room sizes made it difficult to navigate comfortably!!!

charming hotel but narrow hallways
The character of the hotel truly stood out. The breakfast buffet was delightful with fresh options that excited my palate each morning. The staff provided friendly service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
The narrow hallways were a bit challenging to navigate, especially when transporting luggage.

I had an awesome stay in a cozy room equipped with a comfy sitting area and solid air conditioning. The lobby is perfect for unwinding with a quiet lounge and a busy breakfast scene. Just a heads up, parking can add up a bit, but it’s worth it for such a great experience! 😊

I loved the breakfast! Freshly baked croissants and delicious organic juices made my mornings wonderful. The room was cozy, but the parking garage was tough to navigate. 😅

missingWrote a review on Jul 06historic decorprime locationdelicious breakfastslow elevator
The hotel’s historic charm as a former firehouse really shines through the New England decor, complete with antiques and patchwork quilts that add character to the stay. The location is prime, just steps away from the subway, making it easy to access the sights of both the city and nearby MIT. Plus, the complimentary breakfast offers a delightful selection of fresh fruit and warm pastries, and the evening wine tasting is a cozy touch to unwind after a day out.
The elevator is notably slow, which can be frustrating, especially after a long day. In the Deluxe King Room, part of the ceiling is sloped, making the room feel more cramped than it should. visibility out the window is limited as a result. I also prefer a standalone shower rather than a combination with the bathtub, which could be an issue for some. Finally, while parking is available, the limited garage spaces could pose a challenge for those arriving with a vehicle.

Couples looking for comfort and charm
We had an amazing breakfast every morning, complete with gluten free options which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was attentive, always checking in and making us feel welcome, even during wine hour in the evenings.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but the experience made it worth it.

The Kendall Hotel At The Engine 7 Firehouse is charming! The decor is elegantly tasteful, making me feel like I stepped into a cozy art gallery, and getting around the hotel was effortless for me as a senior.
Wider hallways would be beneficial for seniors.

Staying here was a treat! The breakfast buffet had a killer selection—think fresh fruit and warm pastries. Plus, the atmosphere had this cool boutique vibe that made it feel unique. Also, I loved the proximity to local eats, especially the nearby Clover and Dumpling Daughter!
And I had to deal with a funky layout in my room—my leg became friends with the bed frame way too often. Still, minor hiccups in an otherwise sweet stay!
